Pitched up at Bexhill to Bob out on a 4.5 and his 77lt board, so way more wind than I was expecting. I went for a 5m and PaulP went 5.8m. Thought I should do the honourable thing and texted a couple of people saying it was 5m weather. Then it dropped. Bugger. It didn't look like it was coming back in a hurry, so quickly derigged and went for thr 5.7 instead. I dropped a couple of less decisive texts with an update and then headed out. Actually, it was ok. Planing all the time, but the current made it all feel a bit sludgy. Nice to be out in a shorty though and Bexhill had some nice little ramps to jump off too.
